The clinic is specializing in facial and body plastic surgery, therapeutic cosmetology and laser dermatological surgery.

Igor Vladimirovich Danischuk, the founder and former head of the clinic, started his career after graduation from the Second Moscow Medical Institute. He completed a specialization course in surgery at the A. A. Vishnevskii Central Army Hospital. Subsequently he worked as a senior researcher at the Laser Medicine Research Institute (laser plastic surgery department) and later headed the medical cosmetology department at the Central Research Institute for Skin and Venereal Diseases (at the Russian Health Ministry).

Doctor Danischuk is the author of numerous papers on surgical techniques and skin care as well as of practical guidelines for doctors concerning aging problems and correction of age-related defects. He completed a doctoral thesis on body sculpturing and correction of facial defects, which he was about to defend.

“Each of my patients must feel that not only they are receiving the treatment based on the best modern technologies, but also that they are being treated with dignity and respect, which they certainly deserve. Each my patient, irrespective of their age, gender, and social rank, may count on my comprehensive attention, sympathy and love,” – this is how Doctor Danischuk articulated his professional credo.

In 2003 the clinic observed its 15th anniversary. Being one of the first facilities of its kind in this country, the clinic has gained the invaluable experience over these years. Also, the clinic has formed a strong team of single-minded associates who are doing their job in a highly professional manner.

This June the clinic has suffered an irreparable loss. While attending an international congress in Brazil, Igor Danischuk died in a tragic accident, with just several days to go before his 45th birthday.

Doctor Danischuk was a fellow of the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, sat on the Board of the International Aesthetic Medicine Association, and was the President of the Russian National Aesthetic Medicine Society.

His enormous creative energy and indefatigable striving for new accomplishments left nobody indifferent – neither his partners nor opponents. His personality happily combined the talents of the practicing surgeon, the researcher, and the teacher.

The time that has passed since Mr. Danischuk’s death has demonstrated that the inevitable consequences from the loss we have suffered are being successfully overcome by combined effort of the clinic’s staff. The clinic continues to function and develop. Doctor Danischuk’s disciples and colleagues continue to work, pursuing the course he outlined, implementing and developing his designs and ideas. We have not seen any decline in the number of patients coming to us for assistance.

Implementation of the leading clinical experience, strengthening of relationships with our foreign colleagues, the availability of the state-of-the-art equipment and methods, repute at home and abroad – for which we must give Doctor Danischuk his due – all these factors in combination serve as a foundation for future development and prosperity of the clinic on the basis of the traditions implanted by its founder.

The clinic team believes that this is the best they can do in commemoration of their colleague and teacher.
